Clive Duck (Scarborough North Cliff) won the ERU Seniors Championship at Bridlington G C with a gross 78 from playing partner Peter Bishop (Hessle) 79. Third was John Robinson (Beverley) on 81 and joint fourth on 82 were Ron Kelley (Scarb North Cliff), Brian Witty (Scarb North Cliff), Tony Barron (Hornsea) and Dave Richardson (Ganstead Park).

In a fluctuating back nine Duck, who had turned in 37 to be two ahead, saw his lead disappear by the 12th hole.
