| Our final meeting of the year was at Cottingham Parks GC on 31.07.08. Apologies for late submission of this report, we have been on holiday since then. We nearly managed a full year of competitions without rain, but sadly the afternoon starters at Cottingham got very wet. Over 200 players enjoyed the course, and it was good to see six clubs represented in the prizes, listed below. Thanks to all who have supported the Member Association this year, we hope to see you in 2009.My particular thanks to my wife Eileen for all her help during the year. Edward Clark |

| Another warm and sunny day, only spoiled by a short,sharp shower at lunchtime, accompanied by nearby thunder, but thankfully no need to suspend play. 55 fourball entered, a full field, results shown below. Here's hoping we can make it four good days out of four when we conclude the season at Cottingham G.C. on July 31 st. |
