Entry to ERUGC Members' Meetings

Entry is open to any member of an affiliated club of the East Riding Union of Golf Clubs, and costs just £12.50 per person for the betterball events and £15 per person for the Am-Ams. To enter, contact the Members' Meeting registrar Peter Lappin on 07736 003100 or by emailing peterdml@gmail.com.

Specific rules governing The Members' Association

 

(i) The above Association is open to all male members over the age of 18 and of Clubs affiliated to the East Riding Union and holding a current handicap certificate.

 

(ii) The Association was formed to enable golfers of all handicaps to involve themselves actively in Union golf. 

 

(iii) Members' meetings will normally be organised on a Thursday and shall normally be in the form of fourball better ball stableford or AM/AM stableford (handicap limit 24).

 

(iv) Entries for Meetings of the Association must be made by the entrants themselves direct to the registrar of the Union.

 

(v) Members who book and are allocated times but who fail to report on the day of the meeting shall be liable for their entry fee.

 

(vi) Any tie at the meeting shall be decided on the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 hole. If still a tie then the result is to be decided by the organising committee.

 

(vii) The Union will award prizes to the winners and other prizes as will be decided by the Executive.

 

(viii) Players are reminded that at all times they are expected to conform to the dress regulations and etiquette of the host club.

 

(ix) Buggies are allowed with the permission of the host club.
